The LDI Office of Consumer Advocacy will be participating in hurricane preparedness events in and around New Orleans and Lake Charles next week. Consumer Advocacy staff will explain the components of a homeowners policy including coverages, limits, exclusions, and deductibles. They will also cover practical ways to minimize risk and offer tips to help policyholders be better prepared if they have to file a claim. Find LDI events at www.ldi.la.gov/events.
